There is a strong link between emotions, mind and body and when working with special needs children, it is important to integrate all three aspects into the sessions. These children are often highly sensitive and are affected by the emotional states of those around them. Therefore, when working with the children, it is helpful to also focus the attention on the parents and their stress levels.
